Approximately one year ago I purchased the above listed Canon PowerShot G10 new for approximately $500.00 plus tax. It replaced a Canon G9 I sold on ebay. I also sold a Pentax digital SLR because I thought I would be sticking with a quality Point and Shoot like a Canon G series camera. The G9 performed flawlessly, though I used it infrequently, and it more than met my needs. The G10, however, offered wider angle coverage (while giving up some of the G9's telephoto capability), and that is the reason I purchased the G10. It, too, has provided me with sharp, saturated images that I have enjoyed printing on an HP snapshot printer. Except for the five occasions I have used the camera, this G10 has rested in its original non scratch packing sleeve in its original box in a climate controlled bedroom for the entire year. I am in no way dissatisfied with the camera or the images it has delivered. I am not aware of any flaws in the camera or among its many settings. My G10 is only up for sale because I received a Canon SLR lens as a gift. I plan to apply the money from my G10 sale toward a Canon digital SLR body. So my recent ownership of cameras has been kind of like swearing by a sedan until one purchases an SUV. The SUV has been great, but then a dealer offers a quality sedan at a fair price, so it is back to the four door again.

As stated above, the camera appears as new. I am the sole owner and handler. This G10 has never been abused in any way (dropped, used under adverse conditions, used commercially, etc.), and the lens has never been touched by any object or ever cleaned. Nor has the lens been "dusted" with the lens damaging air from a can. (Some years ago I rescued a new Leica Summicron lens I was purchasing just before the salesman started to spray it with the effluent from a can of "Dust Off.") I also have never used the camera without a screen protector on the rear LCD.

The camera will be shipped in its original box with the following factory packed parts: a. Battery; b. Battery Charger; c. Strap; d. Interface Cable (never used; in unopened bag); e. AV Cable (never used; in unopened bag); f. Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk (never used; in original sleeve); g. Warranty Card (never filled out); h. "Canon Customer Support" Leaflet; i. Camera User Guide; j. Direct Print User Guide (never used); k. Software Starter Guide (never used). I am also including the following items I purchased separately: a. an ATP Pro Max 2 GB SD memory chip; b. 2 new screen protectors for the camera's LCD screen; c. A microfiber cleaning cloth (which I have used to wipe off the camera body after holding it); d. A small Samsonsite camera bag, w/ shoulder strap, that comfortably holds the G10, battery charger, user manual, and other small items like memory chips and screeen protectors.
