Hello I bought this camera last August on eBay, I have taken some wonderful pictures with it. It was made in May of 2009 as you can tell from the date code on the end of the lens,(http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Canon-Lenses/Canon-Lens-Aging.aspx) I have not used it that much in the 6 months I have had it. This lens is less than a year old and it looks it, it looks and acts brand new. I bought a B+W 67mm Circular Polarizer MRC Filter which cost $120.00 that I haver kept on the lens since I got it.
