This auction is for a Sigma 70 300 mm f4 5.6 APO DG for Canon 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D and Rebel Canon Models. I've had this lens going on about 3 1/2 years now. It has always been in it's case or my camera bag. I purchased the lens new and have been the only owner. I now have other lenses I use, so for the last year or so it has been in my camera bag or on a shelf in it's case. It's a pretty darn good little zoom/macro lens. It works especially well in low to good daylight. If you are planning on using it in low light it works fine if you know how to adjust manual setting on your camera. I would not use it for lots of fast moving action at night, I did it for about a year before I upgraded, results met my expectations for the price. You can get this lens for a fraction of what the L series Canon lenses or f2.8 lens run, which will easily go into the the $1000+ range. Night football games, etc. are possible with good stadium lighting. Most high school stadiums these days have adequate lights. This is basically a starter lens. It's not overly expensive and it works really well. If your looking for a daytime nature lens it is great. If you are looking for a little league sport some type that generally play in in the mornings, and afternoons this will do the job, and it gets close with at 300mm.

I hate to sell this lens because it is the first one I bought when I went to Digital SLRs, kind of sentimental I guess. But It is just setting on a shelf now.
